Met with the full team today and they are in full support of you setting up a satellite event in San Fransisco.
As to the co-coordinator role, can we hold fire with this specific title for a short while. I need to speak at length with Olivia (The US co-ordinator) to discuss her plans but I'm sure you can work together. We plan to come over to the US in about 6 weeks time and will meet Olivia in Los Angeles. Maybe we can schedule a visit to SF to see you too.
As to your board, honorary board, or advisory committee - I would be honoured Alan, to be part of something that is so geared for bringing peace to the world. As you know, my time committments are with Spirit Aid, but if continuing the work of Spirit Aid is all that's required from me at present then great, I love it. All the best my friend. David

Dear Alan. It is good to hear from you. Your Butterfly Project sounds wonderful. I think the Rolling Stone contact is an excellent idea - thank you for picking up the ball there. I am hoping that we will soon be able to have conference calls with David and the crew in Scotland so that we can begin to unite ourselves as a global foundation from which to birth SPIRIT AID.
I would be most honored to be on the board of Musicians and Fine Artists for World Peace and become a butterfly for peace. Thank you for the invitation. My only hesitation would be the fact that I am so very busy, I dont know that i'd have time to read all the wonderful information you send. Is keeping up to speed a requirement, or could I be downloaded a couple of times a year by some information in the mail? that would probably work best for me since that's when I'd get time to read it, at home, on my couch! Thank you again.

In love and service, Olivia

"In my position in the organization I have the authority and responsibility to support your (butterfly) initiatives. We have membership in 100 countries and over 35,000 members. Thank you butterfly spirit for bringing to our attentions the current form of the Global Strategies Project. It is excellent. We would like to inquire how our website could be developed within the frame of the GSP - is it possible? Our site - speaks for itself, and fits into your global strategy. What may not be evident on our site ( because it is not updated) is the progress we have made in the development of the discussion of a global tax and what we have achieved to date - and our next conference - to be held in Madrid under the good offices of the Foundation for a Culture of Peace - details available. http://www.homeplanet.org/alliance

Thank you so much for the honour of being invited to join the Board of Musicians and Fine Artists for World Peace and being able to work closely with the Board to put on a huge concert for peace to support Rep. Dennis Kucinich's proposal for a US Department of Peace and a space weapons ban in the form of the Space Preservation Treaty Conference. I accept and look forward to helping co-create this as reality.

Bio: Alfred Lambremont Webre, JD, MEd is a former Fulbright Scholar and graduate of Yale University, Yale Law School (Yale Law School National Scholar), and the University of Texas Counseling Program.

Webre was General Counsel to the NYC Environmental Protection Administration and environmental consultant to the Ford Foundation, futurist at Stanford Research Institute, and author.
