BGA: How to Land a Butterfly
How to Land a Butterfly

How to Get a Butterfly on Your Finger. Step #1 Find your subject.

Step #2 Get in closer and on your knees (kind of like praying) and
never throw your shadow on the butterfly.

Step #3 Slowly move your finger towards the butterfly. Move slowly & intentionally.
If it's wings close, pause a moment.

Step #4 When you make contact, pause. It may climb aboard unassisted.
If not, give it a slight nudge by moving closer.

Step #5 Butterfly onboard! Slowly bring to eye level. Communicate
in your own way and enjoy the moment. It gets easier each time

That is not a braclet on his right forearm, its a butterfly!

This is one of at least five butterflies to land on David
that day. My count was about a dozen.

Butterfly landed on my arm as I spoke about Rose Liberte's
butterfly experience last year at the same location.

Please read the story A Week Out of Time with the Butterfly
Man in the stories section. She died the same day she
completed it.

When I told David I wished there was another butterfly
to land on his arm, mine flow off and landed on him.
Wishes do come
true.
David on phone later that day back at Butterfly Headquarters.
