BGA: Feed Not Greed - The Only 'Real' Way to End Terrorism
Feed Not Greed - The Only 'Real' Way to End Terrorism

For the first time in human history, the whole world is watching the whole world. Through the wonders of mass communication: newspapers, Radio, TV, and now (most importantly, the instant global communicator), the Internet, all the world's people, even the poorest of countries are getting to see what is going on everywhere. No longer can most leaders keep their people in the dark about what alternatives, great opportunities or freedoms are available to other citizens of the planet. And like children (we're all just a bunch of sensitive children pretending to be adult), we all want what those who have more than us have. And like good Buddhists, Jewish people, Christians, Muslims, Hindus and all other sects, in our hearts we all want the same thing -- peace, love and
joy -- to prevail everywhere.

While few will ever allow themselves to even "Imagine" it being remotely possible, that's only because most of us have been raised with narrow minded visions and fearful prejudices. Fearful prejudices that keep our minds too closed to perceive the greater reality of our amazing potential -- a beautifully diverse and talented human race of inherently loving individuals -- (almost) all acting as a whole and feeling as if we were ONE. I say "almost," because there will always be those who are so out of touch with themselves and consequently everyone else, that it is beyond their capacity to comprehend what really could be. Which brings me to the crux of this essay.

THE PROBLEM - OUR PROBLEM

There are too few with too much and too many with not enough.

This is the cancer that is slowly eating away at all that is good with humanity. And like we Americans who formerly harbored the illusion of safety on our soil, until September 11, 2001 burst that illusive bubble, those responsible for our decay seem to be harboring the same illusion of their safety as well.
Their bubble too must now be burst (via realization, not more violence), so all may heal and our planet may be saved.

In the movie Menace II Society there is a riveting line stated by a
disenfranchised African American street gang member, that really says it all about what we are all now confronting. He said, "There ain't nothin' more dangerous than a Nigger who don't give a shit." Or, as Janice Joplin sang during the turbulent, awakening 60's, "Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose."

Think about these two profound statements for a moment, before reading on. Allow their truth to sink into the core of your being, so you may understand the dangers of descention that we are all now facing. So you, like I, may too feel compelled to do something about it, rather than continue to apathetically be swept away by the river of exploitation that is literally killing us all.

There's a lot of people on this planet right now, good people -- as we all have the potential to be good hearted people under the right circumstances, who, if given the opportunity to act with loving grace rather than react with violence, would jump at the chance to be that way -- even if they themselves are not yet aware of it -- having never experienced it yet. But, life is what it is for them and so for those depraved, deprived, neglected, violated,
disenfranchised, frustrated, resentful, angry, hurt adult children, the injustice of it all must be fought -- at all cost. First, at all cost to there own sense of right and wrong -- personal integrity. Then at all cost to society's rules, nations' laws, religious doctrines and everything else that has ever been designed to keep people on a path of peaceful coexistence, rather than vigilant defiance.

At present, because of misguided fearful generations of conditioning, the few with the most have been raised to horde, defend and protect their wealth. They are taught, constantly, "A fool and his money are quickly parted." They are brought up to defensively and insecurely believe that everyone only wants
their money. In relationship, if the person they love is not as financially affluent as they are, they do not trust that it is even possible that they may actually be loved for who they really are, but rather for what they have. And this is partially so, because in their hearts they know they are hoarding what so many people could be saved with, and so they are ridden with guilt. And
when one is full of guilt one does not feel worthy of love or very lovable, though this is all happening for them on a very subconscious, unconscious level. So, they lose out on the love that more of the poor are blessed to experience than the rich. That's just the way it is, which is something we poorer people should remember to feel grateful for, whenever our minds are caught up in
comparatively resenting those who 'seem to have' more than we do.

Everything on this planet has its pros and cons. Nothing is perfect and nothing is truly for free, other than what nature has blessed us with from the gate. The highest price we pay for things acquired is often not in the form of the difficulty of our labors, but rather in the cost to our self worth, that can and will sabotage all experiences of total joy, that we might otherwise get to experience. He who steels and gets away with it, never really gets away with it. Let's not kid ourselves or buy into the facades of those who pretend to be guilt free. At night when they can't sleep well, they know why. When they talk to you and can't look you in the eye, they know why. When, with all that they have, they cannot look in the mirror and feel proud of what they see, they know why. And what's saddest of all is that they don't have a clue about what they need to do to free themselves from the chains of despair that so holds them down from experiencing the greatest highs of what this life has to offer. Rather than envy these handful of billionaires who still misguidedly keep trying to win happiness through acquiring more, more, we need to compassionately embrace them. Rather than hate them for "They know not what they do," we need to enlighten them, that it's never too late to change and become part of the solution, rather than continue to be part of the problem. Rather than react as terrorists and victimize more and more innocent people who too are being victimized by these unconscious, sad individuals, we need to educate the masses of what the real problem is and get those who have the power to now fix it.

As in the famous classic story, A CHRISTMAS CAROL, we need to turn all the poor-rich, misguided souls around. We need to free them, enlighten them, love them and thereby allow them to freely help and enlighten the lives of everyone else in exchange.

We need more and more billionaires to wake up to the reality that "MORE" can never be achieved and trying to create a legacy based on "HE WHO DIES WITH THE MOST WINS" is not the answer to their happiness. We need to create a new paradigm for them, that is more realistic and truly addressed their real problems, so they too can achieve happiness in this life time, not just wish for it in
the here after. We need to encourage them to become the good guys, the saints, whose legacies will be: THESE ARE THE FEW PEOPLE WHO SAVED OUR TROUBLED PLANET FROM SELF DESTRUCTION. We need to encourage the poor misguided, unhappy
controlling few to now employ their financial power to: help the masses, feed the starving, medicate the ill, care for the elderly, educate the ignorant, propagate the environment, house the homeless and most of all restore hope to our children that this world is no longer rotating on a spiral going down.

"I have dream ....." Martin said, and so do I. I dream of the day where the handful of billionaires on this amazing, wonderful planet, those who are 'really' running the show -- which has no national boundaries or borders, will all wake up and save us before it's too late. That they will finally get, as they say in the anonymous programs, "ONE IS TOO MANY AND A THOUSAND NEVER ENOUGH."
That they will realize that all they accumulate is still not bringing them happiness, because they are seeking the wrong path to obtain that precious goal of 'true' happiness.

I pray that we don't have to first see the day where these few controllers must first be convinced through violent means -- via losses of their loved ones, destruction to their businesses, threats to their personal safety, for them to finally wake up and do the right thing that is so needed right now to save us all.

Yes, I pray that we may all be saved and that it may happen through the peaceful means I know is now possible. Just remember one thing, nothing gets done unless it is profitable. So too no one gives a war unless it is profitable. Ask yourself, who exactly is it that is making the billions of dollars off of our hard earned money to support the killing machine? And when you learn that answer, seek to enlighten those misguided profiteers, so they may be given
the opportunity to save us all and become global, historic heroes, rather than continue to be the causes of our self destruction that they are today.

Remember the saying? -- "Never bite the hand that feeds you." If we put eighty-seven billion dollars into feeding the planet rather than destroying it through war, what countries, who exactly is going to want to destroy us? Where will the righteous terrorists come from to destroy us, when no one will any longer be able to convince them that we are the demons, the enemy? Get it? So
ask yourself why we are not doing that?

At present, we are still allowing the greedy few to keep us all hostage and as the enemy to the world. As long as we allow our leaders to propagate war and exploitation, it does not matter who is president in America, because war will only beget more war and killing will only beget more killing.

YOU cannot SIMULTANEOUSLY PREVENT AND PREPARE FOR WAR.
Albert Einstein

The terms "holy war" as well as "war on terrorism" are both oxymoron's. We don't need to fight the war on terrorism, we need to end terrorism. And that can only be done by finally getting real and addressing the true causes -- the imbalance of resources on this planet.

WE HAVE ALL WE NEED, BUT WE ALL NEED ALL WE HAVE.

Last but not least, let's not kid ourselves. No one can prevent terrorists acts from happening, no matter how much money is spent on trying. I don't even want to suggest or put out in the air all the ways I can personally think of that terrorists can get us, regardless of all the so called preventatives that out government is trying to convince us they are using to keep us safer.

We will not prevent death and violence until we replace our own violence with nurturing. We need to stop the promotion of selfish greed and replace it with the promotion of feed -- all the world's people, not just our so called " own." And we need to stop feeding greed.

If this all makes sense to you, I ask you to help by doing several things:
1) Make signs, send letters, wear T-shirts and get the words "FEED NOT GREED" out to as many people in the world, in as many languages as possible.
2) Encourage millions of people to send these three words in letters to all the world's leaders. So people understand what it means, feel free to reproduce this essay and spread it around in as many languages as possible, to as many people as you can.

Via chain letters on the Internet we can literally reach millions of people in just days and billions in weeks. Together, let's finally get to actually realize the dream of that famous poster of the sixties that said,

" SUPPOSE THEY GAVE A WAR AND NOBODY CAME." anonymous

Think globally! All of our lives depend on it. God, Allah, Great Spirit,
bless and save us all.
