I am very honored to announce that Hopi representative Katherine Cheshire, founder and executive director of the Touch the Earth Foundation, is coming to the Bay Area for a very special visit. She is a member of our indigenous board which also includes Corbin Harney of the Shundahai Network. I hope you will come to one of our gatherings or invite us to one of yours. Please pass this message on to all your friends and any group that might be interested in having her as a speaker or to perform a peace ritual. Her tour is being enthusiastically received in the San Francisco Bay area and included invites to the New Age Expo, Health and Harmony Festival, Isis Oasis, May Day, media interviews and a variety of other women's circles, peace gatherings, and community events. She is offering to show her Hopi videos and lead a discussion on the Hopi Prophecies to interested groups and circles. She worked with Hopi elder Dan Evehema for over 15 years and was with the Hopi when they spoke at the United Nations. She was also a keynote speaker at the 100th anniversary of the Hague Appeal for Peace. The Butterfly Gardeners Association (BGA) and Musicians and Fine Artists for World Peace will be sponsoring her visit. We have arranged for her airline tickets and taking care of other expenses. She offers us thanks for our generosity and asks me to tell you that she is humbled and grateful to come to visit us, be at our events, and be of service in anyway possible for the highest good.
We are asking the community to open their doors and help in this Peace and Prophecy Mission. Your donations to help defray our costs for making this trip possible would be greatly appreciated.
Katherine is known to the Hopi and Lakota Elders as "Dee See Manna" and has already committed to be with us at the Isis Oasis Butterfly Weekend from Friday, April 26 to Sunday, April 28 and at the Interfaith Women for Peace Mother's Day event in Berkeley on Sunday, May 12. We will be holding a special Friday night gathering at Isis for our members only. This will be an incredible retreat, so please register ASAP. The purpose of her visit includes Ceremony and Talking Circles to share with open minded Hearts what her elders have entrusted her with . . . to raise the funds to establish Ancient Agricultural and Spiritual Teaching with Publishing Centers.
During this time the Butterfly Network and Touch the Earth Foundation will explore many of their similarities and common goals and consider what projects to venture into together in like mind. This will be done in the Spirit of Peace and Love for the Whole Human Family. We are hoping to find a spiritual retreat, center and/or eco-community that may want to collaborate and host our organizations on a permanent basis. If you are a part of such a community or know of one, please contact us. Our organizations have many gifts to offer such a community.
We have committed to work together over the next month to help seed these goals. Katherine will need a quiet place to stay during her visit, preferably near my home in Berkeley. If someone can offer a suitable camper, that we would perfect as she could then stay near my office during her visit.
We are seeking spiritual circles, events, places and communities in the Bay area to perform her humble offerings and teachings to. These include:
True Self Workshops: Introduction to a 6 part workshop series designed to Integrate and connect the individual to their true purpose of this earth walk. How to Practically, Spiritually, and Emotionally identify with an integrated life of peace and responsibility for one's self and family.
Ossinagon Bowl / Healing Ceremony / A caring workshop for Women and Chnupa/Pipe Carriers
Purification Lodges/ Wiping The Tears Ceremony; Women's or Coed, healing or special request Circles and lodges.
Circles of Peace and the Hopi Prophecies Discussion,
"Walking in the Days of the Prophecy" Movie, "Hopi Prayers for Peace" and "Land My Life"
Katherine will also be available for Private Counseling, Prayers, Land Blessings and Healing Ceremonies as her schedule permits. It is her desire to build a Sacred Fire, Seventh Fire and Blessings for prayer and purification ceremonies. If we can find a location in the Bay Area, an Inipi Lodge ceremony (sweat lodge) would also be available to those of good hearts and minds. This may include traveling to sacred spots so prescheduling is very important and recommended as soon as possible. Talking Circles of Peace and Wiping of the Tears Ceremonies will be planned so we may clear our hearts and minds of the sorrow of this world of sadness and move to a higher vibration of the Hopi Fifth World of Peace.
